Financial Transparency

Addison Transparency Stars

In 2016, the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts began a new initiative to encourage all county and local governments as well as school districts to provide greater transparency in their financial operations called the Transparency Stars program. Local governments were encouraged to provide clear and meaningful financial information in the areas of traditional finance, debt obligations, public pensions, contracts and procurement, and economic development. Addison is committed to providing financial transparency. We provide multiple resources for tracking expenditures and incoming funds handled by the Finance Department.

For more information on the program, please visit the Texas Comptroller’s Transparency Stars website.
