A resident of Addison since 1987, Guillermo Quintanilla is one of those Texans who “got here as soon as I could.” The Chicago native moved to Texas to complete his studies in mechanical engineering environmental technology at the University of Houston before moving to Addison.
GQ has 25 years of experience designing and managing the installation of piping systems for gas, chemical distribution, waste, and water collection systems. He has been a small business owner since 1994, where he has developed problem solving skills as a leader and a manager. GQ recognizes that Addison is more than 60 years old and fully understands the infrastructure challenges it faces. His experiences in this field will be invaluable to the Town as a member of the city council.
GQ and his wife Denise, a human resources executive, live in Midway Meadows. A self-described workaholic, he also makes time for gardening and cheering for the Texas Rangers.
